With 3000+ ft of water frontage, this newly remodeled and updated home sleeps up to 12 guests and the property has been in the family for 100 years! Semi-secluded on Bear Island, inside Sebago Lake State Park, enjoy the remoteness of the wilderness along with the beautiful panoramic views of Sebago Lake. Offering STUNNING sunrises, you’ll find plenty of space for the WHOLE family inside and outside.

INTERIOR: This large home has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Upon entering the home, you will find a beautiful foyer which guides you into the gorgeous living room, complete with floor to ceiling windows that overlook the lakefront. There is a large sectional sofa with enough room for the whole family, a cozy fireplace, and cathedral ceilings that feature beautiful skylights. You don’t have to take your eyes away from the stunning views; they continue on into the open kitchen and dining space. Perfect for entertaining, you will find this tastefully updated kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare for a family dining experience. The primary bedroom is also located on the first floor with a KING sized bed, featuring breathtaking views of the lake, an ensuite bathroom which has a walk-in shower, walk-in closets, and a full laundry room. The 2nd bedroom, which offers two TWIN sized beds is next to the second full bathroom. Above the foyer, there is an open loft overlooking the downstairs living area, with a nice sitting area - a perfect place to play games, watch TV, and has a bonus FULL SIZED pull out sofa for extra sleeping space. Situated between the two upstairs bedrooms, you will also find the 3rd full bathroom. The 3rd bedroom has two FULL sized beds and the 4th bedroom has another two TWIN sized beds, a crib, if needed, and a quiet space with a desk for those that are finding they need to catch up on some work while overlooking the lake. All rooms are equipped with heat and air conditioning wall units for optimal temperature regulation.

EXTERIOR: With not a neighbor in sight, enjoy the panoramic views of Sebago Lake from the large back deck that overlooks it all! This getaway has a whopping 3000+ ft of private water frontage with a large dock that has space for one boat up to 30 ft in size located in a quiet cove. The crystal clear lake has sandy bottom entry and when the water levels are low during the season, you can often find a little bit of a sandy beach. Whether you are enjoying a beautiful ride in the 2 included kayaks or stand up paddle board, gathered around the cozy fire pit, or taking a walk through the shaded trails with delicious blueberry bushes that surround the dock area, you will be able to soak in all that this waterfront house has to offer. In addition, you will have access to both sandy beaches and swimming areas at Sebago Lake State Park, included in your stay here at Sebago Lake Escape!

AUTUMN STAYS: Check out Sebago Lake Escape during autumn in Maine to really experience the stunning foliage changes that the Northeast has to offer. Make a trip to a nearby apple orchard, take in the local county fair, check out local happenings in Portland, or enjoy a serene fall hike on all of the nearby trails. The lake still holds the warmth of the summer through much of September and the cooler nights are perfect for sipping hot apple ciders by the outdoor fire pit while star-gazing.

HOUSE RULES/SECURITY: This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. No parties or underage drinking. Quiet hours between 10pm-7am. There is a STRICT 15 MPH speed limit on this and the surrounding roads. Number of guests past quiet hours may not exceed the number of guests listed. Any and all damages will be reported to Campfire Booking. Exterior security cameras with audio are appropriately placed on the exterior to protect both guests and owners and are only used to ensure the house rules are followed. Maine State Law requires all children 10 and under to wear a floatation device while using any watercraft.

A signed Guest Rental Agreement is required prior to your stay and will be sent to you via DocuSign following your confirmed reservation. Please make sure your email is accurate.

PARKING: 8 cars and a boat trailer.

ESSENTIALS: Bed linens and towels are included in your stay. You will be responsible for any toilet paper that will be needed beyond the two rolls per bathroom that will be supplied to you. Please note that Scott 1000 1-ply toilet paper is the only toilet paper that is “septic safe”. There is a water filtration system, so water is perfectly safe for drinking

PETS: As much as we love pets, they are not allowed at this property.
